Too Quiet Game

Too Quiet is a clicker game about intrusive thoughts. Intrusive thoughts are ideas
that pop into our head at any given moment of time. They are often negative and can have a great
impact on the person it is happening to. I decided to create this game as a reminder that thoughts
are simply that, just thoughts. There is one level and then a bonus level. In the first level, the
atmosphere is dark and negative thought bubbles have appeared, as the player you take your
mouse and click to pop them and make them go away. This is to remind viewers that when you
are having intrusive thoughts, you can simply acknowledge them and then make them go away
by thinking of other things. The bonus level has a more colorful atmosphere to represent the
sensation of getting through those negative thoughts. The player must use the left and right
mouse key to move and catch positive thought bubbles. I decided to exclude a way for the player
to lose the game because everyone deals with their own negativity differently, but in the end
people are resilient enough to always pull through. This is represented in the win screen. After
the player has acquired enough points, they will be taken to a win screen where a new dawn is
peeking through the window. I wanted the viewers to see that no matter how bad intrusive
thoughts get, time continues forward and a new day is a new beginning.
